I read this article this morning, and I found it so interesting that I just had to post it right away. This has the potential to change the way we understand women, our ovaries and ovum, as well as reproduction in general. This research suggests that women's bodies, similar to men, have the capability to grow new eggs over the course of our lifetime from stem cells in the ovaries. This is contrary to the widely-held belief that women are born with all the eggs we will ever have. Very cool!

I read this article tonight, and one of the things that struck me was the slippery slope reference made near the end of the article: "I think the bigger argument, why people are up in arms ... is this the first step?" he says from his office in the hotbed of the debate.
